“If you’re an alive body, no one can tell you how to experience the world. And no one can tell you what truth is, because you experience it for yourself. The body does not lie.”

Stanley Keleman

Hello and Welcome,

As stated so eloquently above, our body is an amazing resource. Even in times of physical, emotional, or spiritual discomfort, it is always communicating with us, offering key information to lead us towards health, balance, and an ever increasing capacity for compassion. Our role is to listen and respond with empathy and and appropriate care. I have found acupuncture and herbal medicine to be an extremely useful tool in this regard. I use Chinese medicine both to facilitate the process of healing, and to teach patients how to listen more effectively to their bodies and respond in ways that create further ease. By listening, we not only become healthier, but ultimately more compassionate towards ourselves, and in turn the community and world in which we live.

May we all move towards health, and grow in compassion along the way,

Mary Beddoe, MAcOM, LAc
